People are the heart of Power Pilates Plus. Our Trainers have the education and dedication to provide you with the most rewarding workouts.
Jared Patterson, Owner:
Jared discovered Pilates in 2011 after a serious back injury alienated him from mountain biking and quality of living. Pilates offered him the ability to rehab his back, while maintaining the athletic workouts he loved. In just 2 months, he lost 4 inches from his waist and 20 pounds. This experience led Jared to a passionate practice as an instructor and ultimately to the dream that is Power Pilates Plus.
Jared's own HI-Reformer (High Intensity Mat/ Reformer and Athletic Conditioning classes are exclusive to Power Pilates Plus- they transform posture, core strength, joint mobility and mind-body connection. All of his Pilates programs are centered on holistic maintenance of a healthy body- they are rehabilitative, yet they test strength and endurance. Jared provides the highest quality instruction to:
-Athletes and non-athletes who consider movement and integral part of every day.
-NFL and Professional athletes maintaining extraordinary levels of physical performance
-Individuals suffering from pre and post natal challenges, nerve and musculoskeletal injuries and more.
At Power Pilates Plus, Jared has also established 2 athletic-centered offerings, unique to Jacksonville:
-REAL RYDER Indoor Cycling: Fun and functional bikes that have transformed the stationary cycling experience. Jared started the first private Real Ryder classes in Jacksonville, FL for those looking for a revolutionary ride with bikes that encourage good form and pedal mechanics and have the ability to turn and engage the entire body.
-Reflexive Performance Reset or RPR: After experiencing strength and range of motion improvements for himself in just one session, Jared was sold on the athletic transformation through the touch of the hand. The benefits of this new kind of performance reset to athletes and non athletes alike are endless.
STOTT PILATES Advanced Mat, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Reformer and Cadillac with special training in Athletic Conditioning, Bosu Ball, Jumpboard, Pre and Post-natal, Strength and Conditioning Pilates. Created HI-REFORM (a high intensity training or high intensity circuit training with Pilates and functional movements that will produce results with lower risk of injury and impact on the body), REAL RYDER Level 1, Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) Level 1 and 2.
JoHanna Bienvenue / CYCLING: (RELENTLESS ATHLETE)

JoHanna has been an endurance athlete for 10 years, completing ultra marathons and ironmans. She's found strength and injury prevention in exercising "smart", no "hard" Passionate about cycling, she obtained her RealRyder certification as a way to maintain bike fitness in the off-season. JoHanna lives for motivation others. "do the thing that scares you, that takes you to the next level!" She leads a ride that is challenging, supported and leaves you feeling accomplished.
Jennifer Fleischer / CYCLING, NUTRITIONIST, PERSONAL TRAINER : (EMPOWERING DIVA)
I am known to say: "Together, we got this!"... and the occasional dirty joke
Jennifer is an ACSM certified personal trainer and IBFNC Nutritionist. She's completed marathons, half ironmans and worked right alongside her clients, striving for optimal health. "With health, you potential is limitless". Jennifer loves the positive environment at PPP and is an asset to the studio's commitment to quality.
Tiffany Langton / CYCLING : (TENACIOUS FUN)
Mantra: "I know you're tired, but do it anyway!"
Tiffany has been an indoor cycling instructor for over 15 years. Teaching is her love. She teaches to motivate others to be the best they can be and have fun doing it. Her Style of class is a kick butt workout while having fun and a few laughs.
Diane Powers / PILATES : (DEDICATED INSTRUCTOR)
Wise Words: "Breathe... Inhale through the nose and exhale through pursed lips."
Diane teaches a traditional repertoire and contemporary exercises rooted in the art of science and movement. In the exercise industry for many years, Diane started out as a Nautilus instructor. She found the healing power of Pilates after experiencing injuries and surgeries to her knees and foot. Diane believes that form is foremost. "In my class, we focus on movements and keepin the best form possible for the exercise."
Ashland Rahn / BARRE, CYCLING : (CONTAGIOUS ENERGY)
Mantra: "You're here for yourself, no one else! Make every second count!"
Ashland has been a trainer and group fitness instructor for over a year. She's passionate about fitness and helping people reach their goals. Ashland found the perfect fitness combination at PPP, workouts combining high intensity Real Ryder classes and HICT Barre because the muscles never know what their going to get. This is the way to keep it fresh and results-driven.
Christine Stauffer / BE-ACTIVATED, BARRE, willPower & Grace, CYCLING, PILATES :
Mantra: "No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up and never give up!"
Christine has been a personal trainer for years, but started at PPP as a client. She lost 20 lbs. in 5 months taking Barre, Cycling and Pilates classes. She found an advantage combining all three workouts. While all of her classes have a different vibe, high-intensity is a common thread. " I like to push limits and try to find new ways to challenge clients, even if we're just doing push-ups. My classes are tough but I believe in creating a positive uplifting experience. I'm constantly encouraging clients to challenge themselves and telling them that I believe they are stronger than even they think they are."
Carol Streeter / CYCLING : (INSPIRATIONAL LEADER)
You'll hear me say: "Your legs are not giving out, only your mind gives in. You can do more than you think!"
Carol has been teahing indoor cycling for 17 years and NEVER tired from inspiring others. She loves helping people reach their fitness goals by creating a fun atmosphere...a " bootcamp beatdown" is her style.

Gonzalo dedicated himself to exercise 16 years ago when he found himself overweight and unhealthy in a stationary work environment. Indoor cycling was the high energy, music-driven group fitness that hooked him to health. Now, he loves sharing it with others. Gonzalo epitomizes fun- he believes fitness should be something you enjoy. In Gonzalo's classes, you feel like family, sweating and sharing a great workout in a party atmosphere.
